Itinerary Day By Day:

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival at the airport, a representative from Mountain Warriors will personally pick you up. You’ll then be smoothly transferred to your lodging in the charming city of Arusha, where you’ll spend the night.

Take this opportunity to unwind, letting the tranquil ambiance of your accommodation at Mount Meru Hotel, a distinguished luxury hotel celebrated for its serenity and aesthetic allure, envelop you.

This is your chance to relax, rejuvenate, and make the necessary preparations, eagerly anticipating the exciting adventures that await you in the coming days.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

In the morning, your personal safari guide will pick you up from your lodge in Arusha. You’ll travel on a good road to Tarangire National Park, passing Maasai in their colorful dress along the way.

Tarangire is famous for elephants and diverse wildlife. In a top-notch safari Jeep with an open roof, you’ll explore swamps, savannas, and the Tarangire River, spotting zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and giraffes. Keep an eye out for lions and leopards.

Afterward, head to your luxury lodge for dinner. It has a classy restaurant, a nearby pool for relaxation, and ample space.

Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, head towards the fertile highlands where the Iraqw people grow wheat and corn. On the way, pass through misty rainforests in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. In the dense undergrowth, look for baboons, leopards, and elephants.

Continue through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to witness the stunning Ngorongoro Crater before heading to the Serengeti National Park, arriving around midday. The Serengeti is Tanzania’s largest park, featuring diverse landscapes like grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannahs, and mountains.

After a thorough game drive, head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Full-day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Dedicate an entire day to immersing yourself in the wonders of the Serengeti, exploring its vast landscapes and observing a diverse array of wildlife. This remarkable habitat is home to an abundance of animals, including impalas, buffalos, crocodiles, and hippos.

However, its fame is largely attributed to the spectacular annual migration of vast herds of zebras and wildebeests. The migration path is influenced by rainfall and varies from year to year.

In addition to witnessing this incredible migration, keep an eye out for formidable predators like leopards, cheetahs, and lions roaming the Serengeti.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest volcanic caldera. It’s nearly 20km wide, about 610m deep, and famous for its diverse wildlife.

Apart from the Big Five, the numerous springs attract animals like wildebeests, gazelles, reedbucks, and over 500 bird species. After lunch, pause at a picnic spot and continue enjoying wildlife viewing in the crater.

Following the afternoon game drive, you will make your way to have dinner and spend the night at a nearby lodge on the crater rim.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Following breakfast, savor the breathtaking vista overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater.
