Highlights of Tanzania and Kenya at a relaxed pace
Out of Africa
At Karen Blixen Camp in the heart of the Masai Mara, you’ll fall under the spell of Africa just as the famous author once did. Led by a German-speaking ranger, you’ll embark on extensive off-road tours into the wildlife-rich Mara Triangle and through the Mara North Conservancy, offering excellent opportunities to observe the legendary big game migration! A hot air balloon ride including a champagne breakfast is also available.
Serengeti de Luxe
Whether in the heart of the Masai Mara, in the northern and central Serengeti, right on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater or at Tarangire National Park – you will stay in hand-picked safari camps that combine comfort with elegance, outstanding service and excellent full board.
Travel at a relaxed pace
With typically two nights per stop, you’ll travel at a relaxed pace and have plenty of time between safaris to enjoy the ambiance of the lodges. From Nairobi, you’ll fly directly to the Masai Mara by light aircraft. From there, you’ll travel in an all-terrain safari vehicle with a pop-up roof and a window seat for each member of your group of six.

Your accommodations: This is how atmospheric you live
The stylish Karen Blixen Camp is located in the heart of the private Mara North Conservancy. You’ll stay in spacious safari tents, furnished in colonial style – a tribute to the author Karen Blixen – with verandas overlooking the Mara River. Between safaris, you can relax here or by the pool amidst acacia and olive trees.
Perched on a small hill in the northern Serengeti, the Mara Mara Tented Lodge welcomes you. It features a viewing deck, a pool, and elegant Meru tents with modern, African furnishings and a private veranda overlooking the vast savannah. With a little luck, you can spot large herds of wildebeest and zebra from your lodge between July and October!
In the heart of the Central Serengeti, Lahia Tented Lodge enjoys a prominent hilltop location. The main lodge, with its lounge, restaurant, and infinity pool, offers a unique 360° panorama of the plains. The safari tents are modern yet retain traditional safari charm, including a veranda and an outdoor shower. How about showering under the stars?
Enjoy stylish accommodations on the eastern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater at Lions Paw Camp. The lounge terrace offers views all the way to Lake Magadi on the crater floor. The 15 luxurious suites each feature large windows and a veranda for enjoying spectacular sunsets. Culinary delights await you in the restaurant.
Nestled between acacia trees and baobabs, you’ll stay at the exclusive Nimali Tarangire Camp in a private game concession east of Tarangire National Park. The tastefully furnished and spacious tents, each with a private terrace, are decorated in a modern style with an African touch. From the restaurant, you can look across the pool to several watering holes frequented by elephants—perfect!
