Tanzania enjoys a tropical climate and is warm year-round. In the Serengeti, located between 900 and 1,850 meters above sea level, daytime temperatures range from 21°C to 26°C, while evenings can be cool. Along the coast, temperatures rise to around 30°C.
The long rainy season typically spans from mid-March to May. For optimal wildlife viewing and pleasant weather, the best time to visit is June through March.
